Heritage project

Sustainable heritage tourism in Malta focuses on responsible exploration and preservation of the country's architectural and cultural treasures, with collaborative efforts involving NGOs and local councils. Notably, an EU-funded project is restoring coastal towers across the Maltese Islands, including Dwejra Tower in Gozo, St. Agatha’s Tower, Santa Marija Battery in Comino, and St. Thomas Tower in Marsascala, demonstrating a dedicated commitment to preserving and enhancing Malta's cultural and historical heritage.
