The Kick-Off Meeting of the ALTOUR-MED project (Alternative Tourism for the Mediterranean Region) – project n. 2022-2-MT01-KA210-VET-000096406 took place on Friday 7th July 2023 in Malta at the headquarters of the Institute of Tourism Studies.
On this occasion, all the project partners participated, namely Green Village and Education In Progress Italia, who began by presenting their association using slides.
The meeting started at 10 am CET and finished at 5 pm CET, and the topics that were discussed were different.
The first topic that was addressed were the 9 project activities: these were explained by the Applicant to the two partners, who asked questions and reached an agreement on a way forward for all activities, responsibilities and the budget allocated to each activity.
After focusing on the project activities, the partners agreed on aspects strictly related to Project Management, such as the documents to be created for each individual occasion by drawing up a point list, in order to make the project management process efficient.
The Kick-Off Meeting is not only an important moment for the development of the project in general, but it is an opportunity for the partners to talk in person and to get to know each other better, establishing a strong and fruitful bond also for future projects.
The meeting closed with a Thanks to all participants and a recapitulation of the 6 points.
